Brocoli Pesto Pasta

Fresh and zesty, this protein-packed rotini is tossed in a light homemade pesto made with basil, garlic, lemon, and a hint of spice. A simple, flavorful dish that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients:
  • 1 pack IP Rotini Pasta

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 3-5 stems fresh basil or sage

  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • Cayenne pepper, to taste

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1/2 tsp IP salt

  • Black pepper to taste

Directions:
  • Prepare the rotini pasta as directed on the package and set aside.

  • To make the pesto sauce, add all ingredients, except pasta, into blender and pulse until all ingredients are combined.

  • Mix pesto with pasta and enjoy!
