
Delete Your Ideal Protein App Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Ideal Protein App account and the personal data associated with it.
How to request account deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data in either of the following ways:
Option 1 — From within the app
Open the Ideal Protein App and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap My Profile, Preferences & Goals.
Tap Manage
Tap Edit
Tap Confirm Account Delete.
Confirm your request when prompted.
Option 2 — By email request
Send an email to privacy@idealprotein.com from the email address associated with your account.
Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
Include your full name and the email/phone number linked to your account so we can verify your identity.
We will process verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following personal data associated with your account, including: your name, email address, phone number, profile details, dietary and health-tracking information, weight and progress history, and any in-app preferences or settings.
What data is kept, and for how long
Some data may be retained after account deletion where we are legally or operationally required to keep it, including: transaction and billing records retained for tax/accounting compliance for 7 years, and records we must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Any retained data is kept only for the period required and is then permanently deleted. De-identified or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained indefinitely.
